Things needed to be done

Its been 4 month now that we moved in here in the apartment, we had settled in well,, I like it since the children's school is just minutes away from here ,, we would leave the house just in time before the bell rings ,, the place is quiet, and we've got a beautiful view of the golf course,, like living in a gold resort ,, every morning we would hear the sound of the ball being hit ,,, OH,,, love that sound ,, feels like relaxing,,, anyway,, I don't want to get too comfy because we are just renting the place and soon we will have to move again ,, hopefully , but we haven't started constructing our house yet....

The house is just conveniently appropriate for us ,, 2 adults and 3 children , although most of our stuff are stashed away in the garage , we have plenty of space around the house .. but since I decide to put most of our things in the boxes and kept away for awhile ,, I often look at the garage and I can some stuff that needed to be sorted out like the cot that was stacked on the side ,, changing table and a Bob stroller , baby stuff and things that the kids have out grown ,, do I needed to purge them because I don't want to take them with me when I move in to a new place... So that means ,, I needed to sort them out and start selling them or give them away...

Update

1 year on since I started my blog,, I started a blog about my boys condition , he was diagnosed with Mild developmental delay with Autism ,, I wanted to share how being a mum to my precious boy and to let the people be aware of this condition,,,
So far he is extremely doing well, with the help from our government we were able to put him in a special class and he is receiving help...
I think it would be like in US on what they call  social disability insurance,,, if I'm not mistaken,, but anyway ,, we appreciate all the help that was given to us...
To have a loved one with such condition, we only want the best for him,,, we are doing all the things to keep him being "normal"!!!

Anyway,, so far so good and things are looking so good for his progress,, I don't want to elaborate more since I guess I shared so much already from previous post and this time I am concentrating on talking about something else,,, there are heaps of information and reading about the said condition and for us He is what he is and we love hm for that....
Wishing you all the best.. Tada....

An update to my boys condi

New season ....

I was watching a new ad from Target on their range of denim jeans,, since Autumn is coming new season jeans are out on the shops now.. I guess we are not yet ready for the cold season ,, we still love the warmth of Australian Summer , where we can enjoy the outdoors, but yeah the promotion and the shops are busy changing their season stock .. Back to Target jeans I am so loving their skinny jeans ,, first of all I'm not that skinny and I guess I needed to trim up a bit but not contemplating on going on a diet pills after reading some adipex side effects ,, but just to be tone so I can buy this sexy skinny jeans,, not only it is affordable it looks great... Or maybe looks great on the model ,, hahahaa,,

anyway I would definitely check out these jeans ,, I would try them and might ask hubby " Does my bum looks big on these???""" Hopefully not!!!!!

Complaints.....

Having a teenager is such a dilemna ,, I know ... I went through that stage too,, but I was raised in a conservative family... and being in a culture that is totally different here in Oz had made me somehow different ,, anyway,,, the amount of stress my daughter is having from going out with friends,, buying the right shoes, clothes,, Internet downloads,, Facebook,, phone calls,, mobile, Dentist appointment, wanted to have braces, and mostly PIMPLES!!! and this worry her a lot with all the tips and tricks ,,checking out proactiv reviews , finding the best cream, a visit to a dermatologist... and never ending ....

Yup she tries to do things all at the same time...

Whoaa,, hold your horses missy,,,, first of all.. they are not all FREE,, nothings Free and they cost money...... second ,, she doesn't have to rush everything,, she still have to get good grades in school ,, participate in sport and do dancing...
haaa,, and thinking of all the things that she wanted to do in life makes me dizzy!!!
Be an actress,, go to Europe ,, be a Guitarist, a model !!! but what about cleaning her room,,,,

She can start with small step like picking up her empty packet of chips,, put the lid back on her hairspray, do her bed,, pick up her socks and blah and blah and blah and blah..... yeah what about that????
Anyway,, I'm just complaining!!!!!! That is what Mums do complain about their teenagers!!!!!!

Might try this

I've been reading and looking for some tips on how to loose weight without going on anything radical or using any weight loss products ,, just the good old change of lifestyle and I found this on Yahoo7 and would like to share it....

So I might try some of the tips here.....

Fool yourself into eating less by downsizing your table setting
Kids are told to clean their plate at every meal, so it’s no wonder they grow into adults who feel compelled to polish off whatever’s in front of them. Breaking that habit can be next to impossible – but there are ways around it. Switch your plates, cutlery – even centrepieces (seriously) – and you can polish off every last morsel without having to let out your entire wardrobe.

CENTREPIECES

Swap flowers for a bowl of green apples, bananas or after-dinner mints. Studies at the Smell & Taste Foundation in Chicago, US, found that obese and overweight people who whiffed one of those scents before meals lost an average of 27kg over six months.

CANDLES

Skip them, or blow them out after the salad course. When lighting is dim, people linger over food, which can lead to overeating, says Dr Brian Wansink, director of Cornell University’s Food and Brand Lab.

WALLS

Paint them blue, or buy a blue lightbulb to dine under – it’s thought to suppress appetite. In a study published in US interior design magazine Contract, diners in a blue room ate 33 per cent less than those in a yellow or red room. “Blue lights make food look less appealing; warmer colours, especially yellow, have the opposite effect,” says Dr Val Jones, president and CEO of getbetterhealth.com.

SERVING DISHES
In studies, people ate up to 56 per cent more when they served themselves from a 3.8-litre bowl than from a 2-litre one. So use smaller serving bowls and go for ceramic over glass: one study in the International Journal of Obesity found that women ate 71 per cent more out of transparent containers than they did out of dishes they couldn’t see through.
GLASSES

According to the Journal of Consumer Research, adults pour about 19 per cent more liquid into short, wide glasses than they do into tall tumblers. This may be because our brains tend to focus more on an object’s height than its width, so short glasses don’t appear as full. Stick with tall glasses for juice, soft drink and alcohol; go shorter for water.

PLATES

Keep them saucer-size (about 15cm in diameter). It might feel very Alice in Wonderland, but in a study by Cornell University in the US, people who ate hamburgers served on saucers believed they were eating an average of 18 per cent more kilojoules than they really were. People who ate from dishes 30cm in diameter, on the other hand, had no such delusion.

BOWLS

Research shows the bigger the bowl, the more you’ll stuff into it. So stick with small ones, or use a teacup or mug for foods you tend to gulp down, like cereal and ice-cream. Save the giant bowls for salad and broth-based soups so you can fill up on fewer kilojoules.

SPOONS

Use teaspoons, even to load up your plate. Another Cornell study found that people who used 90ml serving spoons (equal to six tablespoons) shovelled out 15 per cent more food than those who used smaller utensils equal to four tablespoons (45ml).

Catching up with friends

just had lunch with friends today and catching with them after a along period of time being away on holiday and Holiday season... Eating a nice cooked homemade lunch and exchanging news and stories are the bet way to catch up with each other...

Some are doing fine and absolutely have a quiet holiday,, and some of my friends are going on a holiday .. We talked about all sort of things about our kids,, in laws like my friend who look after her father in law whose got Alzheimer's and she will go on a holiday back to her hometown,, she is quite worried to leave her FIL at the nursing home,, since he is very weak and needs constant help although he doesn't need incontinence products ,, he just needed to be assisted ,, But I guess my friend really needs a break for a while and have to go back to her hometown to see her family ,, she had been good looking after her FIL ,, her 3 kids and hubby so she deserve a well earned break....

Its juts nice to have lunch date with friends ,, having a laugh and non stop talking and we are definetely goingto have more dates to come,......

We are the only couple who are brave enough to bring our kids in a romantic dinner with all the couples eyeing us... maybe they are making sure our kids are behaving well, or their night out would be wrecked with whinging kids... My kids are well behave ,, Thank Goodness!!!! They are such good kids and they were just contented sitting there all night playing DS and juts writing and colouring in ....

Try to look nice

I am into make up and hair lately , last time when I went on a holiday I was on holiday I have to wear make up (fuuny ehh.. on holiday but wearing make up) well because I haven't been back home for 9 years and when I went to my homeland all I did was to catch up with all my friends ,, so I wanted to look presentable and feeling pretty ,, I don't want them to see me haggard and old looking ,, its been awhile and want to surprise them,, luckily enough I've got positive responses from most of them...

So when I came back here in Oz, with a confidence that is looming I wanted to keep the look and learn more tricks and tips to look better, so I've been watching some tips on you tube and reading some articles about beauty and health I am also frequently checking on some daily deals on some products so I can snatch up a bargain,, but I don't wan to go overboard that is why I am looking or some sale at the stores or even online.
So stay beautiful everyone!!!!
