Indoor Rock Climbing!

 




Our weekend is spent having fun with the kids again....  It all about family ..

and sending it with the kids by taking them to an Indoor Rock climbing....

It was FUN...  Micah, Braiden and I went to climb the wall,, My hubby didn't do it because he's a got a sore leg and Bianca  is too young  to do it..

It looks intimidating at first but I managed to collect some courage to do it.. I went mostly 3/4 way up and the scary part is when I looked down,, whoaa.... then; the courage faded and I just wanted to go down,, straight away.... Micah on the other hand ; whose so athletic managed to climb all the way up few times... Braiden; who loves Spiderman tried to imitate some moves,, but I think he was also feeling a bit scared when he can no longer reach or step on something... But he was such a good boy to try it,, considering it was our first time to do the said activity... and the fact that we have to learn how to trust the person holding or controlling the ropes for us... I myself have to tell my daughter Micah to not let go of the ropes or I will fall and vice versa because I was holding on to her rope  at one point... 

What a challenging week it was and we love it!!! we consider our family as active, who loves to try different activities and giving our kids great experiences by doing so...

A Home Care for Seniors

I've got a friend whose father in law lives with them;;; her father in law has Alzheimer's Disease and he needs a constant  care and loving,, I admire her for doing all the things fro him ; considering that she's got 3 children and her youngest is only 6 months old.. I often ask her how she do it,, but she said she is used to it already,, and she has a genuine love for his father in law,, she said he was really good to her even before he had the disease. We talk about having a break for her probably  inquiring  a care like a homecare in Napa California , but she said her husband is not keen on putting him in someone else's care and it really doesn't bother her caring for him at all.. She said probably when the  time comes that he really need an intense care and she can no longer do it ; then they are open to the idea of a homecare... That is why I always commend her for doing such a good work...

The world is ever changing and the news are always coming... Anywhere in the part of the world , stories about entertainment , today's politics , sports and general news always generate controversies and curiosity . People are always seeking the truth and finding whats the latest news . Its an innate feeling for us to be informed.. There are various ways of getting the latest news through newspaper, Internet, TV and radio... And not to be left out is the word of mouth ; from friends , neighbors, family and colleagues. 

Here in Australia  I keep myself informed through our local newspapers and since I spent most of my time online I always make it a point to go to sites where I can read the latest news from all over the world. The power of the Internet is so vast but I still observe vigilance ..Making myself safe and cautious from malicious and damaging threats .

Litratong Pinoy (Puti at Itim/ Black & White)

Ipinakilala ko sa inyo si MARTY na Palos o igat,, SUs!!! ayan hinanap ko pa ang translation ng eel,,, Tinawag namin syang Marty kasi sya ay Zebra eel at Marty a yung pangalan ng Zebra sa pelikulang Madagascar na paboritong panoorin ng aking anak na lalaki....
Nakakatuwa po itong palos namin ; sa tuwing umaga ay palagi na lang syan nagtatago sa ilalim ng mga bato, and pag oras naman ng kanyang hapunan na tuwing maka dalawang araw ay saka mo sya makikitang naglalaro at nagpapakitang gilas,, mapapansin mo na sya ay malakas dahil pag pinapakain namin sya ng hipon ay bigla nya itong sasakpawin!!!
Sya po ay mahinay o maamo na palos,,, hindi nya ina atake ang ibang isda at saka meron kaming buhay na mga hipon sa loob ng tangke pero di nya rin yon kinakain,, may gusto nya siguro yung hinimay na hipon ,, ha ha ha.. Kahit siguro maamo sya ay di namin sinubukan na hawakan sya... nagsisiguro at nag iingat lang po kami.
Nakakamangha po syang tignan,, ang mag bata ay tuwangtuwa sa kanya pag sya ay lumabas ng lungga.. mahigit na isang metro na po ang haba nya...
Kinunan ko ito nung isang araw,, habang kami ay naghahapunan ,, nung bigla syang lumabas ay nagpaumanhin ako sa aking pamilya dahil kukunan ko muna si Marty ng biglaan bago sya bumaliksa kanyang lungga,, napatawa na lang ang aking mister dahil sa aking pagdudumali....

 Kung gusto nyo rin makita yung aking kulay asul na isdang bituin or Blue starfish nandito po sya. Starfish

Meet our pet Marty the Eel.. we called him Marty because he is a zebra eel and marty is the name of the Zebra from Madagasgar..
He is so fascinating ,, because he would always hide under the rocks and usually comes out at night time for a fee,, we feed him prawns every second night and you would know he is strong , because he just snap at the prawns with enough force...

He is a docile and never hurt any of the fish in the aquarium,, we even have some live shrimps in there ,, but even though he eats prawns he never even try to attack the shrimps... he is just amazing to look at,,, the kids love to see him whenever he is out. He would probably be less than a meter long now... Even though he is docile we never attempted to touch him at all,, we are just being cautious... You never know.....

I took this picture the other day when we were having our dinner,, so I excused my self and hurriedly took a picture of him before he went back in his hiding place,, my hubby was laughing seeing me rushing to take a snap of the eel..

My VAIO is back!!!

Yes...my silver VAIO is back.. I had it fixed and reformat;; its been so sluggish and not performing well... Actually Sony VAIO fell short on my expectations!!!! It's been 2 1/2 year only and I always have a trouble with it... I always get a bug considering that I've got a Anti virus software.. It took me ages to download and it just a total disappointment..
I had it fixed and I it came back, I was totally lost with what to do with it.. I forgot to tell the guy not to delete all the programs ,, well it was too late so I don't have a photoshop anymore that is why I cannot even put a watermark on my pics... My sis from overseas got the disc I haven't bought a new Photoshop for Mac yet ,, its expensive so I have to wait for a little while...
So here is my baby silver,, that is why I just installed some educational games for my son so that he can use this instead.. Wondering why I dont want to use it??? Its because I switched to a MAC!!!!!!! and I'm LOVING it!!!!!!! This Ibook belongs to my teenage daughter and she is loving it too.. I'll post my gorgeous MAC next time....

Dentist Appointment

Whooo.. what a drastic change of weather,, last weekend we were juts having a great warm day... Today we are back wearing our jackets .... 

Hummm,, that is why I am not packing away my winter clothes yet...

The other day I went to the dentist to have a series of treatment for my tooth,, I will have a crown done to my tooth,, the 1st treatment was a root canal,, it was nerve wrecking!!!! Its just a dragging discomfort feeling going  to the dentist office  same anxiety I felt going for a paps smear....,,but I really have to do and see the dentist ; because my front tooth is already wrecked.. I had it done 14 years ago when I was still in the Phils..  so it deteriorated already... No choice but to have it fix.. Cant smile with a yellow tooth...!!!!

As I said it will be a 3 series of treatments and it is freaking expensive!!!! I laso asked the dentist about an option on having a DaVinci Veneer hummm, parang pang total make over,,but he said there is not enough tooth to paste the veneer ,, so the crown is the best option and it is long term..  well there you go saves me a thousand $$ because I know that the Davinci Veneer is so costly...

Anyway I will have my second treatment by 2 weeks time,, they give me a time so I can hold up a bank so I can pay for my treatments!!! Just a joke...!!!

Setting up the Office.

Our business is settling well in to our new place.. Although there are still things to organize and arrange  in the new office; we are slowly and surely making some progress; making sure that the office will look professional. We’ve got a reasonable space to showcase a product.. My husband is contemplating on placing a plasma TV on the wall and he said it would be nice to have the best 5.25 inch in wall speakers ; that would set up the look of the showroom…. And I was thinking that it would be amazing and eye catching to have a focal point in the room… That is why the other day; we are looking for a TV and an in wall speaker too. Since we’ve got a blank wall it would be nice to have the TV and the speaker to be mounted on the wall. 

When we are out looking for a TV we thought of getting a 50 inch Plasma TV and get the 42 inch Plasma that we use at home and take that to work instead,, so that we can have the bigger TV. That solves our problem. So by next week they will deliver the TV to our place . . So the next project is the to have those great in wall home theatre speakers….. I'll keep you all updated and post the pics next time..

Australia's food regulator is testing imported sweets that may contain traces of a toxic chemical linked to several deaths in China.

The illegal additive melamine has been found in Chinese milk formula, believed to be responsible for 53,000 babies falling ill and four of them dying.

Food Standards Australia and New Zealand said no Chinese milk products had been imported but other food, such as lollies, needed testing.

Any products found to be unsafe would be recalled, it said.

"The good news is that no Chinese infant formula products are imported here, nor any major mainstream milk products," spokeswoman Lydia Buchtmann told ABC Radio on Tuesday.

"Now (we need) to look at some of the smaller products that may have come into smaller Asian shops such as lollies ... that have a small quantity of milk product.

"We are just making sure that none of the contaminated ingredients have ended up in some of those smaller products.

Our Weekend Away!!!!

My Weekend Snapshots
We enjoyed our weekend!!! We spent our weekend at Ettalong Beach Resort..
It was a beautiful warm Spring Day in Sydney last weekend 33 C ; what a best way to spend the day is to have a swim in the pool..
We took the kids to Ettalong Beach resort which is 2 hour drive away from our place.. The place that we stayed in was so gorgeous,, overlooking the beach and on the right side is a big pristine pool that kids love to swim...
We stayed there till Sunday mid day.. and on our way home we stopped by to visit the Australian Reptile Park and my kids were quite excited and scared at the same time seeing the reptiles...

WHOO!!!! What a BUSY Weekend we had!!!!!

Litratong Pinoy ( Ginintuan /Gold)

Eto ang aking lahok sa Litratong Pinoy ngayon araw ng Hwebes..

Ayan Ginto talaga!!!  Kinunan ko ito kaninang umaga.. Sa aking kwarto doon ang unang sikat ng araw,, so inipon ko ang mga alahas naming mag asawa at nilagay ko rin ang aking engagement ring at wedding ring sa ibabaw ng  kristal na lalagyan na nakapatong sa kahon na puti at saka ko kinunan..  At nakugod naman ako sa resulta ng aking mga larawan...Napakaganda nag sikat ng araw na iyon dahil kumikinang ang kristal na lalagyan .. 

Hindi ko po sinusuot yan ng lahatan,, ha ha ha,, pa konti konti lang at depende sa okasyon..

There you go .. Gold!!! I took the picture this morning.. The sun shines in my bedroom window and when I saw the brilliant light I gathered all our jewelries including my engagement and wedding ring on top of the Crystal vase which I  placed on a white box and then I took a snapshots... I was happy with the result..  The sunshine was bright and it gives such a good reflection on my crystal vase...

I don't wear my jewelries all at the same time.. ha ha ha.. I wear some of them at a time and depends on the occassion...

Powerhouse Museum (Weekend Snapshot)

It was a beautiful beautiful warm Spring Day last Saturday here in Australia!!!
We knew that its gonna be a warm day 30 C Spring Day, so we decided to take our kids to the city .. We just hopped in the car and my hubby and I were thinking of things to do for the day,, But when we arrived there at Darling Harbour , we saw the PowerHouse Museum ; we haven't been there yet , so we decided to give it a try,, And sure enough ; it was really Great!!! There are heaps of stuff and activities to do inside and the kids can touch and manipulate some of the exhibits.. It was educational as well.. The first thing that we saw was the STEAM TRAIN!!!! Oh MY!!! My Braiden loves TRAINS!!!!!! He was so excited being there... He also enjoyed the Space Exhibition and Transport ..

2 weeks ago I posted the messy rooms of my children as my entry for Litratong Pinoy for the theme (Ayaw ko / I reject) and I said I have to clean the room first and post the pics of  after cleaning up  so check the messy rooms  here..

I just have to tidy up the toys, vacuum and my kids helped me .. so here is it,,,  I just have to redeem my self for posting the messy rooms...

My kids love their bed rooms,, its like a playroom for them too.. They've got heaps of toys and activities to do in there...

Wordless Wednesday (Spring Time)

Spring Time and just when I thought that its getting nice and warmer ,, then the weather changed,, Its COLD again!!!! 16 degrees at the moment and the sky is overcast with few scattered showers....!! hummm do I sound like a Weather Girl???? ha ha ha.. anyways,, the kids are home , no preschool today but we went to playgroup this morning,, as usual when the kids are home ,, mess , mess and alot of mess,, just like the pics here.. O well, I'll deal with it later,,, its just a gloomy cold day today.. best time to slow down and relax with a cup of cofffee...
These are the few of my early Spring Flowers,,, My White Calla Lilies,, I love this flower!!! It gives me 10-12 flowers every forthnight... and my Bird of Paradise,, this flower last for more than 4 weeks... thats why I like it too... and there are some early Spring flowers that are starting to blossom,, cant help admiring them!!!! They are a very hardy plants even if I'm not a green thumb they thrive even with neglect...

Syempre pa.. Chistmas Presents!!!!!! I love to give gifts to my loved ones!!! and I love to receive gifts from Joe my hubby because he is the most wonderful gift giver!! he gives me whatever I ask from him!!!!! he is very generous!!!! 

2010 Christmas we will be in the pHilippines hopefully.. so we can spend Christmas in Pinas!!!!
