IBOOK for Micah
Last Christmas we bought an Apple Ibook for our eldest daughter. We decided to give her that one because she had been good in school .. She is on year 8 now and studying in a Private School; fortunately she's got an academic scholarship; thats why we're only paying 25 % of her fee.
In her school they use Imac computers thats why we decided to give her one,, she already knows how to use it,, and she's quite good at it.
The good thing about the operating System (Leopard ); is that it has a Parental control. We can limit her use of computer, the system that she can use,, and we can restrict certain website that's not appropriate for her and we can view all the site that she had been through... Sometimes before she can open a site my pin number will be asked,, A real TOTAL PARENTAL CONTROL... It gives us a peace of mind; knowing she will not be able to access restricted sites.
We have to be strict with her whenever she using the net because there are some horrid stories we've heard.. The net is not all good, there are some people who are using it maliciously,, thats why we have to be careful..
Her Ibook is 13 inch 2.1 GHZ Intel Core 2 Duo 1 GB memory , Superdrive , Bluetooth 2.0, Built in Airport Extreme
She loves it soo much!!!

as for Micah's cute MACbook how cuute! yeah, my pamangkins ganun ren mom nila sa kanila, they are being rewarded for being a great student at school, I think it's better to be that way, we are adopting to be that way with our children esp for school. that's also great dahil may parental control yung net, kahit sa tv ganun ren nowadays the net is really a tough place for kids lalo na pag lumalaki na sila, di po ba? anyways, I hope you guys are doing great there.. take care!!
Hi Joy. That's a wise choice. I too am a "baby" user of Mac. I have the same model and specs as hers. And I'm loving it.
